Datart was a product concept combining art, data visualization, and digital display. The idea was to create beautiful, affordable works of art that communicate live or changing data. The project explored how data could become part of the physical environment rather than remaining confined to phones, dashboards, or small screens.

The concept addressed the growing volume of information people interact with and the limited visual quality of many data interfaces. Datart proposed using high-quality displays and data-driven visualizations to create objects suitable for homes, offices, cafés, and other public or commercial spaces. Potential applications included weather, traffic, financial markets, business KPIs, popular café orders, and transit information.

The project also considered a broader product ecosystem, including collaborations with artists and manufacturers, API integrations, custom installations, a freemium app, a digital gallery, exhibitions, and seasonal themes. The initial go-to-market strategy focused on a €100 to €500 price range, with interior designers, art collectors, and corporate customers identified as potential early adopters.

I was the founder and project leader. I developed the original concept, assembled the team, and led the project through its early development. I pitched Datart to Motion Lab in Berlin and was accepted into the program. Participation required obtaining a visa to remain in Berlin, but I was unable to secure the visa within the required timeframe, so I could not participate by the program deadline.
