Teacher Torrey
I have taught for nearly thirty years, beginning as a teacher's aide in college. I later became a professor at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, where I helped develop early standards for online teaching that are still used today. That position did not pay enough, so I moved into private software training, where I taught official Adobe and Microsoft curricula alongside web technologies, Google tools, and courses I built myself. Since then, I have taught in a range of settings, including startups and tech companies, as well as two years in China, where I taught ESL and STEM curriculum and managed a team of teachers. I recently formed a group in Shenzhen where members teach each other AI coding techniques and stay current with AI coding trends.
